- The Data Analyst collects data on sales operations and analyzes it to identify issues and implement corrective actions. The role requires excellent attention to detail, a deep understanding of delivery processes, and exceptional analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities- Analysis and Reporting: Prepare periodic analyses and reports on client and product performance, including the creation of dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.- Cost Optimization: Contribute to identifying costs related to delivery and the supply chain to improve process efficiency and measure the profitability of offered services.- Pattern Identification: Explore complex datasets to uncover patterns, anomalies, or hidden relationships, providing relevant insights to optimize pricing strategies, delivery costs, and product profitability.- Profitability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to evaluate the profitability of clients and products, analyzing financial and operational data to identify optimization levers.- Modeling and Scenarios: Develop "what-if" scenarios for pricing and costs to assess their impact on profitability. Provide recommendations based on these analyses.- Pricing Model Exploration: Support the analysis of different pricing models and evaluate their impact on the company’s financial outcomes.- Competitive Intelligence and Market Analysis: Integrate external data (market, competition) to perform benchmarking analyses and position Intelcom relative to industry best practices.- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing) to integrate insights from analyses into operational and strategic decisions.- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in data analysis processes and propose solutions to make future analyses more effective and impactful.- Operational Excellence: Gain a thorough understanding of our business processes, systems, and foundational data architecture to optimize operational excellence within revenue management.
Your Profile- College or university degree in a business or technology-related field- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or financial analysis- High-level understanding of all aspects of logistics processes in parcel transportation- Strong financial information analysis skills-
- Experience with data warehouses like Google Big Query or Snowflake- Knowledge and experience with programming languages (SQL)- Curious and self-taught, approaches technical challenges with open-mindedness and innovation- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency, problem-solving, and analytical skills- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Bilingual preferred (fluent French, functional English)
