This adjuster position will also have some managerial responsibilities in overseeing other on-site and remote adjusters. Reporting to the CEO and a member of the senior management team, your leadership in ensuring that all regional employees are clear about the corporate direction and that all quality, customer service, continuous improvement and integrity standards are adhered to will see you succeed in this role.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Reporting to the President & CEO
- Attending or investigating claims on behalf of our principals to: assess damages, create scopes of repair, interview claimants and witnesses and create scene diagrams
- Reviewing policy wordings to determine coverage
- Communicating findings of investigations in a detailed report format
- Reviewing professional reports related to the claim; such as, engineering, accounting, legal or building consultant
- Authorizing or denying coverage based on findings and instructions received from our principals
- Negotiating settlements with insureds and/or claimants based on instructions received from our principals
- Ensuring that claims are processed in accordance with statutory requirements
- Investigating suspicious claims
- Responsible for the day-to-day quality of the claims product and general administrative duties to include compliance with key performance indicators in marketing, timely reporting, report content, chargeable hours, unbilled revenue and accounts receivable
- Recognizing the need for ongoing learning to deal with external and internal changes, develop personal development plans for both self and all regional team members
- As a leader, you possess the ability to motivate, coach and mentor your team to create an exceptional experience for clients as well as drive the business forward through your strategic planning.
- Minimum three year adjusting experience
- Active adjuster license
- CIP Designation, or working towards CIP Designation
- Outstanding mathematical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and OneNote
- Experience and ability to navigate a claims management system
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion
- The ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
