We're looking for a Solutions Consultant to advise fast-moving organizations on how to achieve their business objectives using social media. You'll be working with prospective clients to understand their business needs and guide them on the Hootsuite solutions that will help them better connect with their audiences. While working remotely (in accordance with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy), you will report to our Senior Manager, Solution Consultants.

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:

- Partner with Sales and Success teams to plan opportunity and account strategy, establishing Hootsuite as the solution and partner of choice and contributing to personal, sub-regional and regional targets.
- Contribute to the creation of successful proposals by answering questions about our solutions and how they fit with customer requirements.
- Participate in discovery sessions with practitioners and team leaders to uncover key requirements, challenges and opportunities in their organization.Deliver concise, compelling, value-based presentations and product demos, typically at social media practitioner level.
- Maintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of features and upcoming releases for Hootsuite and Partner products by actively attending product councils and learning sessions.
- Share learnings from experiences, training and external sources with colleagues in the regional Value & Solutions team via regular team meetings and through team collaboration tools.

**WHAT YOU'LL NEED**:

- 1-2 years of sales, marketing, or social media management experience.
- College or university degree/diploma (or have equivalent industry experience).
- Working proficiency in Hootsuite, Salesforce, G Suite Applications, and video conferencing software, or the ability to quickly learn and understand new software.
- An aptitude for explaining how solutions work.
- Curiosity for how businesses in various industries operate.
- Ability to understand and articulate our most common social use cases in marketing, advocacy and service.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needs.
- Creativity and Innovation: Seeks new and better ways of doing things, generates original and imaginative ideas, products, or solutions.
