**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Director, the Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, producing, and executing communications that help drive the company’s objectives. With a focus on internal communications, this role will work with various internal stakeholders across both QuadReal and Parkbridge to identify communication needs and implement tactics that are timely, effective, contribute to our overall communications strategy. The incumbent of this varied role will also maintain and deliver a content calendar for our corporate social media channels.

**Job Details**:
**Writing & Content Creation**
- Maintain and develop a robust content calendar to share company, operations and people updates.
- Draft written content and create/edit visual assets for publication on our internal channels such as the Intranet and regular e-newsletters and and corporate social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram).
- Help ensure consistency of communications across all channels.

**Communications Support**
- Assist in supporting Parkbridge and QuadReal town halls, in collaboration with leadership - including producing events, surveys and related activities.
- Lead the development of the news section on the Parkbridge intranet; partner with QuadReal colleagues to ensure content is also posted on QuadReal intranet where relevant.
- Support the Human Resources team in developing and communicating employee engagement opportunities.
- Identify new and creative ways to communicate with and engage employees across the country.

**Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives**
- Foster and enrich Parkbridge's employee culture while helping to facilitate participation in CSR initiatives across the company, and in alignment with QuadReal.
- Work with QuadReal Community Engagement Manager and HR team to highlight company’s CSR activities and promote ways for employees to use their volunteer days.
- Highlight employees in news stories on The Bridge through articles like Employee Spotlight, You Take the Cake, or Leaders Spotlight, etc.,

**Research, Results & Reporting**
- Build and compile regular reports to measure the effectiveness of the news section on the intranet and our internal e-newsletter campaigns.
- Create regular social media reports using Sprout to measure the follower growth and engagement across our social media channels.
- Work with the communications team to compile regular quarterly reports to measure the effectiveness of our internal and external communications efforts.

**Other**
- Support the Communications Team as needed in implementing varied internal and external communication campaigns and initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned, in accordance with department and business objectives.
- Work positively, effectively, and collaboratively in a team environment.

**Required Education & Experience**
- Minimum three years of corporate communications experience.
- Thorough working knowledge of modern communications practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline. A specialization in communications, public relations, or journalism is preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**
- Excellent writing skills with very keen eye for detail
- Superior critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively to a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects according to deadlines
- Experience creating/editing visual assets in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite with a good eye for design
- Experience using social media scheduling tools advantageous.
- Thrives while working as part of a collaborative team
