Description du poste

This position is within one of our customer in the automotive industry. The missions:

- Ensure successful execution of major tooling and equipment for a new vehicle launch program
- Manage project scope and timing to meet vehicle launch targets
- Monitor equipment sourcing through purchase order release
- Collaborate with suppliers and integrators throughout design and fabrication
- Work with installation contractors to ensure equipment is installed according to a detailed scope of work
- Collaborate with plant personnel and core team members to receive top-quality equipment
- Drive commissioning activities of equipment to meet pilot, launch curve, and PC1 production targets
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address complex cross-functional issues on the floor
- Track and eliminate throughput bottlenecks and faults associated with process equipment
- Manage ME projects and supervise a team of union-represented (SBU) engineers within UAW contract requirements
- Work with team to achieve key metrics for the launch

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical or controls engineering, maintenance, electrical, or related field
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Projects, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software and the ability to read and understand 2D layouts
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Excellent people skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to function in a platform and team setting
- Self-directed and motivated to implement change within the department
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to travel and interface with suppliers if required.
