**Job description**

JOB DUTIES: The employee will be primarily dragging branches to the wood chipper and learning from a crew leader about basic arboriculture practises, rigging techniques and climbing trees. Other duties include using a stump grinder and our aerial bucket truck which will require training as well. Learning how to identify shrubs/trees is expected. This job can be a labour intensive job where we work in heat, cold, wind and different kinds of terrain. It is different every day which makes it so exciting.

APPRENTICESHIP: Opportunity to be an apprentice under us. School is an option for the employee if they are interested after the upcoming season.

QUALIFICATIONS: No work arborist experience required, though it is an asset to have previous arboriculture experience or experience with tools/landscaping to help with easing into the career.

Previous labour experience is an asset

G License is required, though a DZ license is much preferred.

Education is not required, though it is an asset.

Full time hourly position with 40-50 hours weekly. Compensation based on qualifications and experience. Benefits after 3 months.
