Arborist / Groundsperson

Job description:
Total Tree Care is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team TTC is looking for a grounds person to assist in daily operations by clearing working areas and operating tree equipment safely. Everyday is a new adventure and learning experience with TTC

Job Duties:

- Provide ground support to Lead Arborists when needed.
- Safely operate chainsaws and chippers.
- Maintain a clean job site by taking any tree debris from the area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are being completed.
- Adhere to all Total Tree Care safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Highschool Diploma or GED required.
- Post-Secondary Arboriculture - Apprenticeship considered an asset.
- Knowledge in operating relevant equipment: chainsaw, chipper ex.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Valid drivers licence an asset.

Wages:
Wages will be determined by experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
