**Job Description**:
Based out of the Toronto, Regional Office. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, F&B, Fairmont Global, the Vice President, Food & Beverage, Americas will be responsible for the overall strategic definition and oversight of the Company’s F&B vision in the Americas region. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Formulating, recommending and implementing procedural guidelines, policies and standards pertaining to the overall food and beverage operations;
- Deriving strategies to achieve corporate goals and objectives;
- Conceptualizing new food and beverage developments for existing and new properties;
- Act as the region’s F&B, food service, and interior design consultant liaison for renovation projects and new openings.
- Maintain relationships with owners, owning companies, investors, asset managers and hospitality advisors.
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction through controlling and re-enforcing the food and beverage product and service delivery consistency in all properties;
- Monitoring the external environment and competition in the luxury hotel industry and identifying opportunities to strengthen the food and beverage operations strategies and enhancing Fairmont’s competitive advantage;
- Provide commentary and advice to Operational Leaders on hotels’ financial and quality performance
- Assist COOs, RVPs, GMs, F&B / Culinary Teams to identify opportunities to maximize F&B returns regarding revenue generation, operational efficiency and space utilization
- Represent the Brand at regional events and industry advisory groups.
- Tracking food and beverage Executives’ career development and making recommendations on transfers and promotions.

**Qualifications**:

- Five + years experience in F&B related management experience in an upscale operation including hotels and restaurants
- Culinary and hotel opening experience
- A proven track record of success in developing and operating high performance F&B facilities
- Substantive international experience
- At minimum a Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline
- The individual should be highly confident in his/her abilities, creative and detail-oriented
- The individual is required to be a consummate team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
