**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily maintenance repairs, including general maintenance, HVAC, basic carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
- Prioritize and manage the repair program to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain health & safety standards.
- Execute the preventative maintenance program for guest rooms, hotel grounds, common areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Perform pool maintenance and water quality testing (training provided).
- Conduct general cleaning duties, including maintaining hotel grounds and parking lots.
- Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and guests regarding maintenance needs and updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Use strong decision-making skills to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent repair requests.
- Adhere to safety protocols and hotel standards.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar facility.
- Knowledge of electrical appliances, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in painting, power washing, and vacuum repairs.
- Experience with pool chemical testing or a pool operator’s certificate is an asset.
- Strong guest service skills, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, recognizing the value of both guests and associates.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending and carrying.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends, up to 5 days per week.
