QA Program Manager Tier 1 Canadian Bank

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the overall test strategy, including performance and automation strategy, for multiple work streams in an agile project.
2. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and cases.
3. Oversee and coordinate all testing activities during each sprint/phase of the project.
4. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing capabilities and performance.
5. Facilitate communication and collaboration across engineering, product, and operations teams to mitigate risk and ensure project milestones are met.
6. Analyze data from quality testing efforts to identify areas for improvement and create actionable plans.
7. Mentor and develop the quality engineering team to build a high-performing team.

**Requirements**:

- 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance/testing, with at least 3 years in a program management role.
3. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, processes, and tools, including experience with test automation and performance testing.
5. Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman and SQL.
6. Familiarity with open source test automation tools and frameworks.
7. Expertise in Java and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
8. Familiarity with iOS app testing and tools such as XCode, XCTest, etc.
9. In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
10. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving requirements.
12. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
