At Zero Point Cryogenics, we specialize in the development and commercialization of state-of-the-art dilution refrigerators - the cornerstone technology for quantum computing and research. Originating from a low-temperature physics research group at the University of Alberta, our focus on excellence and innovation is unwavering. ZPC’s clientele includes quantum computing companies, academic institutions, and government laboratories.
**Who We're Looking For**
**Your Role**
- Interact with customers and prospects to learn about what is important to them and help them with their cryogenic needs.
- Build key customer relationships with new and existing clients
- Manage existing clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retain business
- Research and respond to tenders published by government and academic prospects
- Identify business opportunities, generate warm leads, and seek out partnerships
- Learn our product line by physically spending time working in our assembly facility directly with our physicists, machinists, and technicians
- Assist with negotiations and closing of business deals
- Handle client inquiries, clarify information, emphasize the benefits of working with ZPC, and providing a positive customer experience
- Predict clients’ future needs and help management devise strategies and action plans to meet those needs
- Attend industry functions and provide feedback and information on emerging trends
- Consult with and present to senior management on business trends to develop new services, products, and distribution channels
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system
**Qualifications**
- PhD or MSc in physics, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with dilution refrigerators in industry or academia
- Passport and ability to pass security clearances for customer site installations if necessary

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Contractual agreements will also be considered
