**The Company**:
At Speeders we love to race We're the first indoor electric go-karting facility in Canada and for over 11 years we've been delivering an exhilarating and safe racing experience to racers of all skill levels. We offer many types of racing including drop-in racing and group events. Our goal is to provide a safe, family-oriented, social environment where individuals can enjoy themselves while learning some new skills behind the wheel.

**The Opportunity**:
Speeders is excited to re-open our newly renovated Richmond location. We use electric go-karts on two multi-level racetracks - the next level of thrilling entertainment in go-kart racing By using electric karts there are no exhaust fumes and no smells, making our workplace warm and clean. Our new facility offers many forms of exciting entertainment for all ages including mini-golf and laser tag.

**Position**:Attraction Host

**Reporting To**: Team Leads and Managers

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate and monitor attractions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests.
- Assist guests with proper instruction, ensuring attractions are properly used and following all safety procedures.
- Collect or confirm payment from guests and provide necessary instructions for accessing attractions.
- Enforce height, weight, and age restrictions for attractions to ensure compliance for the safety of all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility, including attraction areas, restrooms and seating areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on attractions, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the management or team leads.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow emergency protocols and procedures in the event of an accident, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests.
- Assist with crowd control and line management during peak periods to maintain order and ensure efficient operation of attractions.
- Participate in regular training sessions and stay updated on safety protocols, updated procedures, and Speeders policies.
- Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
- Able to read and interpret documents such as daily checklists, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

- ** Attraction Host Required Skills**Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.Attention to detail to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests throughout their visit.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining composure and professionalism.Basic math skills for cash handling, credit sales, and redemption transactions.Physical stamina and endurance to stand, walk, and move for extended periods, and to assist with lifting or moving heavy objects if required.Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled, depending on operational needs.Ability to quickly learn and adhere to safety protocols, attraction procedures, and Speeders policies.Strong problem-solving skills to address guest concerns or resolve minor attraction issues independently.Team player mindset, willing to assist colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.**Required Qualifications**High school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in a customer service-oriented role, preferably in the hospitality or amusement/entertainment industry.Knowledge of attraction operations and safety procedures is a plus.CPR and First Aid certification is desirable but not required (training may be provided).
