**General Summary**

Sunset Grill Restaurants Ltd. is one of Canada’s first all-day breakfast restaurant franchises. Since 1985 we’ve been the home of Famous All-Day Breakfast® and have expanded to more than 100 locations across three provinces. Our restaurants are owner-operated and designed with community in mind. At Sunset Grill, we’re your home away from home.

We are looking for an experienced **District Manager** to join our Head Office team as we continue to expand across Canada and beyond.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform field visits and store evaluations with all assigned Franchise Partners
- Enforce service, procedures, appearance and product compliance
- Address complaints and provide store level problem solving and general assistance
- Complete pre-opening and onsite assistance with the new store openings
- Assist in the transfer of existing franchised stores to new Franchise Partners
- Recommend and administer changes and updates
- Complete all required reporting and paperwork as directed by Director of Operations
- Conduct Regional Franchise meetings as required. Present training during Regional meetings, as needed
- Interface with vendors, suppliers and equipment manufacturers
- Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Operations

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of one-year multi-unit restaurant management experience is necessary
- High School graduate, with two-year degree and emphasis in business or foodservice & hospitality preferred. Job related experience may be substituted for formal college education
- Restaurant and business management experience
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Computer literate and experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and Internet usage
- Commitment to excellence in performing job-related duties. Must be a self-starter who requires little supervision
- Able to travel and be away from home
- Must be willing to work weekends on occasional basis when required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be willing to travel in Ontario and other provinces
- Note: This role will be required to travel throughout Eastern GTA
- Professional demeanor a must
