As an Equipment Technician you will be part of a team that is responsible for trouble shooting, maintaining, and repairing our Production and Facilities equipment.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform maintenance and reliability methodology such as preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance and equipment condition base monitoring to ensure photo production plant equipment is in ongoing peak condition (digital printing presses, plastic film laminator, magnet laminator and die cutter, rotary die cutting machines, yearbook booklet makers, auto packaging machines, as well as digital photographic) using supplied electronic test equipment such as digital multimeter, reference material such as OEM equipment parts and service manuals, and other Lifetouch Technicians
- Perform equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis to execute corrective actions as necessary.
- Communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all management, supervisors, leads, and other Lifetouch employees
- Perform repairs on all equipment, overhaul, and modifications to meet high equipment efficiency and Lifetouch Photo Production standards.
- Install new equipment, hardware and software upgrades and mechanical improvements as necessary.
- Design, participate and/or develop improvements to eliminate waste, which may include Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
- Responsible to keep Spare Parts inventory neat and accurate.
- Continue developing knowledge and skill with ongoing changes of the production equipment.
- Perform Building Facilities Equipment inspection, maintenance and repair as requested.
- Train and share knowledge to other Lifetouch Technicians.
- Other duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

**Minimum General Requirements**:

- 2-3-year experience as Maintenance Technician.
- Experience and knowledgeable in Electronics and PLC Control.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Must be flexible to workday or evening shift and stand-by coverage as required.
- Must be able to travel to the US for training as required.
- Experience operating a variety of equipment and tools, both powered and non-powered.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- CTAM Certified Tech is preferable
