Job description
Georgia Straight Towing and Recovery acts as an industry leader in Towing and Transport. We operate out of Courtenay, Campbell River and the North Island region. We are actively seeking new applicants to fill the Truck Operator positions.
**Responsibilities**
Include but are not limited to:
*Tow/Transporting vehicles, storage containers and materials
*Vehicle Recovery and Extraction
*Attend service calls (ie; boost, unlock, etc)
*Complete Pre-trips and Log Book
*Communicate with dispatch and operators
*Rotating On-call
*Maintain a high standard of safety and professional image
**Qualities we are seeking**
*Able to demonstrate a mínimal level of mechanical aptitude
*Reliable - Must be available to work a rotating shift
*Able to safely complete tasks under occasional high-stress environments
*Professional and courteous attitude
*Experience is an asset, but willing to train the right individuals
**Requirements**:
*Class 5 Driver’s License with Clean Abstract (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset)
*Physically fit and Capable of Lifting up to 75lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,847.00-$75,003.00 per year
