**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Validate agent licensing and appointment for business submitted
- Follow up on account transfer requests
- Record account updates in agency management system
- Process various policy service requests
- Provide timely and effective customer service;
- Provide instruction to financial advisors/agents on completing documents
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

**Knowledge of**:

- Investment and/or insurance industry operations.
- Concepts, practices and procedures of investment and/or insurance compliance, including suitability
- Principles, practices, and procedures of general office concepts and customer service.

**Skills in**:

- Identifying the needs of customers (Advisors) through effective questionning and listening techniques.
- Communicating detailed policy information and/or requirements between financial advisors and their support staff, interdepartment staff, and insurance carriers.

**Ability to**:

- Provide a high level of customer service in a courteous and professional manner.
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
- Use appropriate oral and written communicate skills to communicate effectively with Financial Advisors, Associates, and external vendors.
- Effectively gather all relevant information in order to analyze, research, and resolve business issues in order to make decisions.
- Problem solving sufficient to effectively analyze, research and resolve inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

**Educational/Previous Experience Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in financial services industry, preferably inlcuding related service experience.

- Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.

**Licenses/Certifications**:

- Life, Health and Variable Annuities License is helpful but not required;
- Canadian Securities Course an asset.
