Reporting to the Manager, Cardiac Diagnostics, the successful applicant will perform the duties of the Respiratory

Aide to support the operations of the department, and provide relief during the summer period. This position is

temporary and the successful applicant is not eligible for part time or casual work in another capacity at the

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre while working in this position.

Qualifications:

- Must have successfully completed year one of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program OR are enrolled to

enter year one of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Must currently be enrolled and returning full time to an educational program
- Must have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must have knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and its usage
- Must have knowledge of lead placement for stress testing
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have good problem solving skills

Salary Range: $24.093 to 24.480
