La Taqueria was born in 2009, through the idea of creating a taco stand, which resembles the taste and feel of street tacos around Mexico. These tacos are usually the best, a real Mexican tradition.

La Taqueria Hastings is expanding and opening an outdoor space named Chupito. Though connected to La Taqueria, the outdoor space has its own identity - a low waste, cocktail-forward snack bar. The focus of the bar will be on well crafted approachable cocktails and the patio's kitchen will be preparing it's own line up of dishes.

We are looking for qualified servers to join our starting team at the end of this month We are passionate about providing an inclusive space focused on the guest experience.

**Qualifications for the server position**:

- 2+ years working as a server
- Strong spirit, wine and craft beer knowledge
- Knowledge of agave spirits and Mexican cuisine is an asset
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, is proactive and eager to learn
- Passionate and dedicated to customer service
- Availability to work days, evening and weekends
- Smart Serve certification

**Qualifications for the host(hostess) position**:

- Able to work under pressure
- Team Player
- Proactive, eager to serve and learn kind of attitude
- Help to support staff with ensuring work area and tables stay clean and organized
- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive
- Lead guests to their tables
- Estimate wait times for guests
- Use No Wait system
