**Responsibilities/Duties**:
The research associate will coordinate research within Western Upper Limb Facility (WULF) located at the Sturgeon Community Hospital in St. Albert.
This role is multi-dimensional and will include development of research proposals, obtaining ethics and administrative approval, as well as coordinating of participant recruitment, completing data collection and undertaking/coordinating data analysis for clinical outcome studies involving the upper extremity, particularly elbow, wrist and hand. The research associate is also responsible for knowledge translation activities including preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.
**Qualifications**:
- MSc or equivalent in health-related field preferred
- Musculo-skeletal knowledge/experience an asset
- Competency with research design/statistical methods/analysis and software program(s)
- Ability to effectively manage/coordinate simultaneous projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Willingness to occasionally travel to different clinical sites within the Edmonton health zone to liaise with clinical/research staff as necessary
- Assertive, self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision/instruction
- Able to deal discreetly with confidential information and follow privacy directives
**Salary commensurate with experience.**
**Salary**: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
