**Responsibilities**

Content Creation
- Plan, shoot, edit and optimize relevant social media content
- Plan, script and film videos at jobsites
- Effectively combine text, audio, animation, photography, and video to create informational and impactful content
- Use design software to create graphics for social media and/or other marketing activities

Storytelling
- Cultivate consistent branding, voice and visuals across platforms that align with the Urbacity’s website and overall values
- Ensure that content is diversified and inclusive
- Draft content and captions into compelling messages

Social Strategy
- Coordinate all social media content
- Edit and publish a social media calendar
- Improve overall authentic engagement on social platforms
- Track engagement and prepare reports on marketing efforts and effectiveness
- Obtain insights that will shape future marketing campaigns
- Develop and implement strategies and plans to reach specific audiences by creating promotional and educational material
- Maintain a photo/video inventory, ensuring proper approvals have been obtained to use the pictures in marketing materials

**Requirements**:

- Portfolio displaying a range of quality social content or share a link to a successful social media profile or post or video
- 2-3 years in a content creation role
- Proficiency in image and video capturing and editing
- Experience with design tools like Canva, Figma, Photoshop etc.
- Background in social media, PR, influencer/digital marketing, design, communications considered an asset
- Reliable transportation

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
