EFW Radiology is currently seeking a **Clinic Support Specialist **to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care

**The Role**

The Clinic Support Specialist works closely with Reception, Ultrasound, Nursing, X-ray, Mammography and the EFW Physicians to ensure that the patient experience is efficient and effective. The Clinic Support Specialist is also responsible to ensure that all EFW reports are sent out accurately and in a timely manner.

**Reporting to**:This position directly reports to the Clinic Support Supervisor

**Role Overview**:

- Acknowledge and assist patients, family members, and visitors upon arrival.
- Assist receptionists with patient registration as needed.
- Verify patient information, referring physician details, and exam reports.
- Handle routine administrative work, including document processing, STAT reports, and more.
- Escort, advise, and assist patients in preparing for exams.
- Depending on clinic, support with Pediatric scans.
- Follow proper protocols for autoclaving, procedure room cleaning and disinfection.
- Manage clinic supplies and assist in stocking rooms.
- Act as an exam chaperone when needed.
- Adhere to privacy policies, safeguarding personal and health information.
- Demonstrates EFW values of Compassion, Trust, and Meaning in the workplace.
- Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

**You have the following**:

- Medical Office Assistant or Healthcare Aide preferred.
- Previous healthcare environment experience is an asset.
- Medical terminology course is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Compassionate patient care and conflict resolution skills.
- Motivated self-starter, both independent and team-oriented.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
