G2 Gas Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Represent CDN in a professional and courteous manner on each call, keeping customer service at the forefront.
- Test safety devices, check for gas leaks, and inspect and fix a variety of appliances, such as ovens, gas fireplaces, gas fired refrigeration appliances, water heaters, boilers, furnaces, and central heating systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain gas meters, regulators, and gas lines.
- Installing and connecting appliances to gas, water, and electrical supplies.

Retrofitting and analyzing HVAC products for installation, repair, or replacement.
- Educating clients on safety features and maintenance of gas units and systems.
- Must be willing to travel with overnight stays company paid room and board.

**Skills, Abilities and Experience**:

- 1-3 years of experience in HVAC work.
- Must be physically capable of performing all the work required for this position.
- Must have very strong customer service and communication skills with ability to go above and beyond.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

**It is considered an asset if you possess the following**:

- Safety certifications: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, Confined Space, Standard First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights Construction.
- 313D - Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic or 313A - Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic

**Schedule**:

- Day shift
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week shift with possibility of overtime

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Overtime pay after 44 hours in a work week.

**Experience**:

- HVAC: 1-3 years (required).
- ability to accurately read blueprints.

**License/Certification**:

- Gas Technician Level 2 Certificate (required).
- G Drivers (required).
- Work Location: Local to Delhi area, On the road, travel required with overnight stays.
