Sheet Metal Worker 308a

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Represent CDN in a professional and courteous manner on each call, keeping customer service at the forefront.
- Perform installs, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems in residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, or public buildings. This list includes but is not limited to:
Follow CDN procedures in designing, building, and installing air handling systems and environmental controls.

Manufactures, creates, assembles, handles, erects, installs, dismantles, reconditions, adjusts, alters, repairs and/or services all ferrous and nonferrous sheet metal and all other materials used in lieu thereof.

Read and understand shop and field sketches used in fabrication and erection, including those taken from original architectural and engineering drawings and sketches.

Fabricates or installs metal cladding over insulation.
- Must be willing to travel with overnight stays company paid room and board.

**Skills, Abilities and Experience**:

- Must be a licensed Sheet Metal Worker (308A).
- 1-3 years of experience in HVAC work.
- Experience with pattern drafting and layout work to succeed in the trade.
- Must be physically capable of performing all the work required for this position.
- Must have very strong customer service and communication skills with ability to go above and beyond.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

**It is considered an asset if you possess the following**:

- Safety certifications: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, Confined Space, Standard First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights Construction.
- Certified G2 Gas License considered an asset.

**Schedule**:

- Day shift
- Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week shift with possibility of overtime

**Supplemental pay types**:

- Overtime pay after 44 hours in a work week.

**Experience**:

- HVAC: 1-3 years (required).
- ability to accurately read blueprints.

**License/Certification**:

- Sheet Metal Worker License (308A) (required).
- G Drivers (required).
- Work Location: Local to Delhi area, On the road, travel required with overnight stays.
