Swine Technology Transfer Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand the Canadian swine sector and value chain, building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Manage on-farm performance benchmarking to ensure Compiporc, Scenario, and NutriOpt-related tools objectively measure technology benefits nationally.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions in swine production.
- Consult with swine customers on their key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the innovation and sales teams to develop tailored strategies and recommendations for swine customers.
- Contribute to technical and sales meetings by sharing customer performance metrics and providing insights into production trends.
- Conduct comparative analysis of production performance against industry standards and competitors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing performance and reducing costs.
- Train and support swine production teams in data collection, performance tracking, and analytics interpretation.
- Assist the sales team on farms, addressing performance challenges and customer needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MSc in Animal Science, Swine Nutrition, Agriculture, or related fields.
- Proven experience in swine production with a strong understanding of industry practices and performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, along with strong organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated superior customer focus and ability to follow up, while aligning with internal processes and procedures.
