- ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Escalate customer issues to Manager promptly.
- Help plan for new customer implementations.
- Participate in conference calls and meetings.
- Balance overtime / agency use.
- Staff planning to avoid excess overtime expenses.
- Maintain Time and Attendance system for agency and full-time staff (Kronos) on a daily basis.
- Manage performance, evaluations, training and development of all reports.
- Deal with performance issues and consult with HR / Management guidance for complex issues.
- Follow programs implemented to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation and use of the facility.
- Oversee all warehouse services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Keep teams updated with daily operational issues, priorities.
- Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety & Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property.
- Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met.
- Continuous improvements in all facets of warehouse operations;
- Prepare accurate reports regarding warehouse operations;
- In collaboration with Warehouse Manager, keep warehouse supplies stocked and re-order when needed using cost-saving methods when available.

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- 7+ years experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL / Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment
- 3+ years leadership / supervisory experience with 10+ years direct reports
- Managerial / direct experience with distribution center processes required (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, value added processing and sub-assembly);
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and cost structures
- knowledge of all applicable health and safety and employment standards legislation,
- Knowledge of different production and quality systems (GxP, ISO, Document Control, Lean, TPS, Six Sigma);
- Diploma/Degree in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
- Certification(s) in material handling equipment is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies and Warehouse Distribution environment;
- Experience in a pharmaceutical distribution center is an asset;
