The Township of Rideau Lakes is seeking to hire a team-oriented individual to fill the position for a contract **Small Equipment Operator/Labourer**.**

The contract Equipment** Small Equipment Operator/Labourer** will be responsible for performing maintenance and upgrades to various municipal properties and facilities, and assisting the Lead Tradesperson with capital improvements. The contract is set to run from April 2023 to November 6, 2023. The regular working hours for this position are Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30PM. The hourly wage for this position is $23 per hour. OMERS pension contributions are included with this position.

**Education/Experience/Skills Training for Small Equipment Operator/Labourer**:

- Experience in property/facility/grounds maintenance
- Experience operating small equipment
- Trades experience are considered an asset (carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc )
- Other licenses and training are an asset
