We are currently recruiting for a **temporary** **full-time Technical Spend Analytics Analyst** to support our Spend Analytics team.

**Position Overview**

This position is responsible for maintaining data governance and data quality which impacts reports that are used internally across the organization and by our external stakeholders to make financial decisions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review data gaps from overnight ETL process and process accordingly
- Validate incoming vendor-based data and use data mining and cleansing techniques to create and/or update item master data and item attributes
- Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders regarding project status and any risks to timelines
- Support Offshore Resource team through clarification of standards, creating work packages, managing workload, quality review, publishing and dashboarding of KPIs
- Continuous review and tracking of KPIs for incoming data
- Leveraging data to identify, implement and document opportunities for more efficient work processes or enhancements to existing processes/systems
- Comparison of Vendor and Hospital data to improve data integrity and data availability
- Utilize various data analytic tools and techniques to identify issues such as duplicate items or inconsistency in attributes
- Support system enhancements: Providing test cases, completing test cases, creating training documents and training peers

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Post Secondary Education in Business, Accounting, or Health Informatics education would be an asset
- 2+ years’ experience o In data mining, cleansing and manipulation related field o Problem solving and research skills o Customer service
- Expert analytical skills: conceptual thinker with advanced problem solving and decision-making skills, highly motivated and resourceful to perform with limited supervision
- Data Oriented Personality: enjoys making sense of data, exploring data, looking for patterns and inconsistencies and massaging data to present a story in a clear and concise manner
- Self-Motivated and organized; able to work under pressure, lead others and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Team Player with ability to take personal ownership for deliverables and timelines
- Strong presentation skills in both creation and delivery

**Travel**
- Ability to travel to Mohawk Medbuy offices in Burlington, London and Brantford.
