**Purpose - **Assist the Service Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department's operation within the dealership.

**Responsibilities -**
- Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
- Open work orders as directed my Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintain control until they are closed and invoiced
- Maintain the service library with current information (for example, file bulletins, manuals, multi-media etc) under the direct supervision of the Service Manager
- Maintain Service department filing and records
- Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
- Maintain accessories and supplies and prepare replacement orders
- Prepare service technician efficiency reports
- Process warranty and/ or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up.

**Experience, Education, Skills, Knowledge-**
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices
- Basic knowledge of farm equipment, farm terminology and models
- Knowledge of office procedures
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
