Pallet Machine Operator

We here at H&H Wood Products Are looking for a few individuals to operate our pallet machines we have to run safely and efficiently. We are seeking individuals that will work days and afternoons. Must be able to drive in to work as we are not on a bus route. We are located at 6886 Colonel Talbot London. See the duties below.

1 The DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of the Machine Operator include, but are not necessarily limited to:
6.1 Is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the production machine

6.2 Is responsible for completing the Pre-shift Machine inspection before he/she is able to start production

6.3 Ensures the regular maintenance of the production machine is performed and advises the Production Manager of any serious maintenance issues that need servicing externally.

6.4 Maintains cooperative working relationships with supervisors and other staff members in all departments.

6.5 Makes it understood that THE CUSTOMER IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY and that each employee is here to support that priority.

6.6 Stays aware of current company policies and procedures.

6.7 Performs any other duties as may be asked by the Production Supervisor

6.8 Must try to make an improvement to the workplace every day.

6.9 Is responsible for producing a quality product according to work orders given.

6.10 Is responsible to make sure the production machine works efficient

6.11 There will be given a quota in what is expected to be filled for the day

6.12 Must be willing to fix any issues with the machine if possible, If not able too, notifying the supervisor about the issue so it can be fixed.

6.13 Must be able to import and export production tags from the kiosk (computer) on a work center designated to the machine being operated

6.14 Will require to measure the material brought to machine and either cut the material or produce wooden product according to the work orders given to ensure the proper material is being used

6.15 Need to check the quality of the finish product to ensure the its done according to work order

6.16 Or any other tasks given by the Production Manager

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
