Apprentice Machinist

We currently have an Apprentice CNC Machinist position available. Must be motivated and willing to learn.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret drawings and determine work and/or repair procedures
- Set up CNC Milling Machines and CNC Lathes and machine to prescribed tolerances
- Select mechanical measuring, checking and layout tools and devices
- Execute measuring, checking and layout operations
- Perform metal removing operations using hand and power cutting tools
- Some heavy lifting

**Education**:

- Completion of secondary school

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1+ years in a manufacturing environment with some machining experience

- Ability to work well as a member of a team
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent conflict resolutions skills
- Must be able to work overtime or weekends

Required education:

- High school or equivalent

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: $56,986.00-$81,125.00 per year
