**The opportunity**:
The primary purpose of the Finance instructor is to plan, organize and deliver curricula to international students in an instructor-led environment. The Finance Instructor will be responsible to teach and facilitate courses to classes of **international students** in the Office Administration
- Health Services (OAHS) post-graduate certificate program.
The instructor will evaluate student performance relating to the curricula using a variety of assessments.

The instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Demonstrate fundamental bookkeeping and accounting skills using an accounting software such QuickBooks, Sage etc.
- Review and follow the instructors course guideline which includes the course learning and vocational outcomes, alignment table, evaluation breakdown, daily summary plan and the daily lesson plan.
- Prepare lecture/lab and class materials as required.
- Keep the students engaged by developing and/or utilizing a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students.
- Administer assessments using the LMS platform.
- Ensure students are meeting academic guidelines and communicate progress to the International Education Manager according to the college written procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting trends and technologies to enhance the learning experience.

**What you bring to the position**:

- University degree in Finance or related field required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a Finance or related role is required.
- Knowledge of Sage and/or QuickBooks is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of D2L Brightspace or another Learning Management System (LMS) is considered an asset.
