The Application configuration specialist role will help ensure the optimal utilization of COTs and custom software systems by providing configuration enhancements, support and training and quality assurance. To succeed in this role, you should be highly collaborative and flexible, have excellent organizational, time management and communication skills, as you will be collaborating with colleagues and external suppliers in helping teams deliver results on tight deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
Conducting thorough testing to ensure that configurations and customizations work as intended without causing issues.
Education and Experience Required
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Technical skills related to configuring enterprise level COTS software
Strong experience in creating and maintaining Workflows, Business Rules and Reports
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience with SDLC and IT change management processes
Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint),
Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint
Experience with SQL queries and procedures is an asset
