Burlington, Canada Mirage Pools & Spa Full time

Mirage Pools specialize in all things residential swimming pools. We have a busy retail store, our service offering includes openings/closings, maintenance & chemicals, liner installs, safety cover installs, equipment (pumps, filters, salt systems, heaters, automation) repair/installs, and some swimming pool renovation projects.
- Accurately evaluate and quote residential gas/HVAC service installation and repairs
- Seasonal pool heater start-ups, cleaning, diagnostic, parts replacement, new heater replacement for existing damaged or out-dated heaters.
- Perform a variety of gas field service installation and repair for our residential clients (with a specialty but not limited to swimming pool heater). Ideally, also in the service and installation of Furnaces, A/C's, gas lines, fireplace & BBQ's.
- Able to take on an assistant and effectively train them
- Manage relationship with inventory manager and our vendors to ensure we always have the right supplies on hand.
- Ensure that the site is a safe and clean environment
- Coach, train and set expectations for all division employees
- Take initiative to problem-solve and find solutions for real-time issues
- Represent Mirage Pools with superior customer service
- Hands-on work that sets a strong example for apprentices

**Additional skills required**:

- Experience and knowledge of power/ hand tools, and gas/ HVAC equipment
- Experience and knowledge of the swimming pool industry and equipment is a major asset
- Positive influence and proven track record of managing employees
- Able to give and receive feedback from senior management
- Ability to repeatedly lift large amounts (up to 50lbs)
- Work in all (safe) weather conditions
- Leadership and professional qualities
- Ability to speak to and deliver accurate information to customers
- Available to work up to (and possibly over) 50 hours per week
