**Position Overview**:
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a dynamic, hands on, small team environment and fosters our culture of collaboration and getting things done.

**Location**:

- This is a hybrid role with minimum one day per week in our Kitchener office. Typically, our Finance team works on site on Wednesdays (Wednesday lunch is provided)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and build relationships with key stakeholders within Sales, Legal, IT, Operations, and Finance teams
- Ensure that supplier invoices are processed within 7 days of receipt, and that discrepancies are reviewed promptly with key stakeholders
- Conduct regular supplier reconciliations of key accounts as directed by the Controller
- Provide prompt replies to supplier inquiries and support transparent stakeholder relationships & engagement
- Support vendor master data reconciliations & proactively identify missing data and work to resolve
- Assist in annual financial audit by preparing working papers and data collection
- Support cash forecasting and cash management activities, as needed

**Key Requirements & Experience**:

- A minimum of 4 years working experience as an Accounts Payable Professional (or equivalent)
- Professional experience in the manufacturing and/or technology industries
- Superior knowledge of Excel, reporting tools, and ERP Systems; Epicor experience is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to take initiative and be proactive with limited direction
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that may include criminal/civil background checks
