Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our local team in Courtice, Ontario. Not only will you be given an opportunity to help bring local infrastructure projects to life; but you will also have a chance to collaborate with an amazing team.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Update and maintains information in Alpa Pre-Engineered Panels Systems Inc. records systems and department databases
**The Skills & Knowledge You Bring**
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Understanding of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the operation and maintenance of machinery
- Capable of working overtime and/or weekends if necessary
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing
- Ability to maintain organization of maintenance schedule and files in a changing environment
