Facility Custodian

Cadman Power Equipment, located in Courtland, ON is a designer, manufacturer and global distributor of irrigation and manure management systems, and high-volume fluid transfer solutions within the oil and gas industry.

We are currently seeking a qualified and eager individual to join our team for the summer in the position of Custodian/Yard Maintenance, on the day shift, at our main facility in Courtland. In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for the interior and exterior appearance and cleanliness of the facility.

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Grass cutting using a riding and push lawnmower
- Trimming bushes, weeding, etc.
- General yard cleanup projects
- General plant cleanup projects
- Indoor custodial duties (washroom cleanliness, sweeping/mopping and garbage removal)
- Other duties as assigned

Key Skills and Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma, or in process of achievement
- Previous landscaping or outside maintenance experience preferred
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Ability to use hand tools and simple power tools
- Forklift experience an asset, but we are willing to train
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Reliable transportation required
- Willingness to work overtime or adjusted hours as required

Work Conditions
- Exposure to potentially hazardous environments (examples include dust, chemicals, noise) requiring protective equipment
- Exposure to uncomfortable work settings; may have long combinations of standing, crouching, or sitting
- Exposure to different weather conditions
- Repetitive tasks within a fast paced work environment

**Experience**:
