We are seeking an Experienced Service Manager that will bring knowledge, leadership, and positivity to our team. Someone who is ready to build a long-term career and play a key role in the management and growth of the service department and our business as a whole.
- Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic with 5+ years’ experience as a Service Technician
- Previous sales and management experience an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including details about the company and manufacturers
- Valid BC Drivers license.
- Ability to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs.
- Good time management skills to handle all service or customer problems that arise on any given business day
- Exceptional Customer service and trouble shooting skills, to help resolve concerns efficiently and encourage repeat customers.
- Strong leadership skills, to encourage the collaborative performance of the service team.
- Verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and the service team

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable for managing all areas of the shop and service personnel.
- Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Oversee service department, hiring, supervising, training and mentoring service staff.
- Assign jobs and work areas to Service Department employees according to their skills and knowledge.
- Opening and closing repair orders and reviewing for accuracy.
- Communicate regularly with customers about maintenance and service work needed.
- Ensure customer experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations and the manufacturer’s customer satisfaction.
- Maintain customer relationships and ensure repeat customers by handling customer concerns in a timely manor.
- Monitor and control all warranty activity, assuring compliance with warranty policies and procedures.
- Remain current on product and industry changes.
- Ensure Department goals and forecast are being met and managed.
- Lead a collaborative service department, working closely with sales and parts departments.
- Initiate housekeeping, safety and security procedures that result in a safe and attractive working environment.
- Prepare for and participate in meetings with management and other departments.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
