**ABOUT GIZEH**:

To ensure and maintain food safety Gizeh Packaging NA Inc. has established the internationally recognized Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system and FDA Food Safety Management System. Our packaging technologies include, but are not limited to, injection molding, thermoforming, in-mold labeling and off-mold labelling. Gizeh’s Canada location continues to grow and as such, we are looking to grow our team with enthusiastic and professional individuals who are looking for a fast paced and rewarding position.

**POSITION DETAILS**:

- Effectively and efficiently perform inspections on various plastic containers
- Identify and effectively communicate non-conforming product to Team Leaders, the Quality Manager and the Production Manger
- Sort non-conforming product
- Collect and test product using various measuring devices

**Provide support to the Quality Manager with various tasks, such as**:

- Developing the Quality Management System in coordination with FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 standards
- Creating specification sheets
- Creating and updating quality instructions and packing instructions
- Assisting in new product startups by being hands-on in the production (measuring product and providing feedback to the Production Team.
- Assist in root cause analyses when working through internal, external and supplier complaints
- Train associates

**WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:

- Must work exceptionally well in a team
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Must have excellent professional communication skills (verbal, written)
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A positive attitude and highly motivated
- Enrolled in post-secondary diploma and actively pursuing a career in the packaging, quality or manufacturing industry
- Have the ability to use critical thinking and the ability to solve problems
- Model a continuous improvement mind set, and the ability to easily accept change
- Able to prioritize effectively, and finish tasks efficiently
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong ability to adapt to change with exceptional organizational skills
- Pay close attention to detail
- Flexible schedule (able to work 10-12 hours when circumstances require it)

**EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATES**

Highschool Diploma or equivalent

**ASSETS**
- Previous experience working in injection molding or thermoform molding
- Previous experience working in manufacturing
- Experience with Microsoft Access
- Experience with CAD or GOM Measurement System
- Quality Management System Training
- FSSC 22000, BRC, ISO 9001 training or knowledge
- College/University Degree
