**Description**

Technologist/Contractor, Design Services (Check Coordinator)

Key Job Elements:

- Perform as integral member of ED&D Design Services checking and standards group
- Coordinate Technical Data Package (TDP) checking and departmental reviews
- Derive Engineering Change Notices for Design Services from existing Change Requests and initiate workflows using Teamcenter
- Assist in the development of departmental processes, standards and related documentation
- Verify completeness, consistency and quality of new and updated design package submittals
- Support the exchange of job packages and departmental standards with outsource provider
- Support the development and reporting of Design Services internal performance measures
- May be required to develop standard parts and integrate these parts into the Teamcenter Classification database

Required Qualifications:

- University degree or college diploma in Electrical or Mechanical field
- Minimum 1-2 years of practical experience modelling and drafting using NX CAD software

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of military drawing practices including MIL-STD-100 and related ASME Y14 series standards
- OACETT certified Mechanical Technologist or Technician (CET) with specialty in mobile equipment
