Vicars School of Massage Therapy is hiring a Social Media Coordinator We’re Alberta’s premier private massage college, and we’re seeking a talented and hard-working social
- and multimedia-content individual to join our team and help us improve our game on Meta, YouTube and more.

Vicars is a successful, progressive, women-owned company committed to providing massage education to a high standard in a competitive field. The job is a full-time, permanent position with flexible hours, primarily working from our south Edmonton campus. Occasional travel to our Calgary campus for meetings and assignments will be required.

You will work closely with the marketing and admissions teams, as well as with faculty and students, in order to plan and create engaging and informative online content and manage our social media presence across various channels. We are looking for someone who is well-organized, energetic, and up for the challenge of taking our enrollment and clinic attendance numbers to a higher level. Our social media presence has been mínimal, but as a company, we know we can do better—with your help

**Your qualifications**

We’re looking for someone who has:

- 1-3 years experience in a similar role that has included writing, filming, and editing video content for social media
- Proficiency with photo and video editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, iMovie, etc
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread and edit content for accuracy and clarity
- Some experience managing business accounts on Facebook, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Experience with or training on HubSpot is an asset

**Your responsibilities**

This position will need you to be well-organized and focused. You will be asked to:

- Evaluate our current and potential audiences across platforms and develop strategies to increase our online impact
- Within the marketing team, plan and create social media content (including video) that maintains and grows our brand
- Monitor and respond to online comments and reviews
- Track and analyze paid and organic social media engagement
- Stay current with tools and trends in social media, as appropriate for our needs
- Work with external contractors and consultants

Over time, we hope to involve staff, instructors, and student “ambassadors” in promoting the program and student clinics and celebrating the accomplishments of our students and faculty. To make this work, your role would be to provide practical advice on best practices for content, including photography and video.

Pay: $53,000.00-$60,500.00 per year
