**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Based at the Macassa Mine, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Maintenance General Supervisor** to join our Mobile Maintenance Team.

The Macassa Mine is a high-grade gold producer, with grade improving at depth, and a key valuation driver for Agnico Eagle. Located in the Town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, the Macassa Mine remains one of the highest gold grade mines in the world. Macassa commenced operations in 2002, and with the discovery of the South Mine Complex has been able to increase its level of production significantly over the past five years. The mine is located in an area with well-developed infrastructure, including a provincial highway, a railway system and a private airport. High-grade ore is processed at the Macassa Mill, which currently has available capacity and is located in close proximity to the mine.

The Maintenance General Supervisor is responsible to oversee front line supervisors, ensuring all work is planned and executed per plan, ensure supervisors are trained according to regulations and have the tools and direction to perform their jobs efficiently.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Your responsibilities will include:

- Demonstrate technical and conceptual aptitude in anticipating problems and guiding the team to deliver agreed departmental and business goals to ensure the value of the business is maintained or improved:

- Provide leadership to the maintenance team, including maintenance contractors and other service providers
- Support in the execution, planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluation of the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment on site.
- Participate in the improvement and optimization of the process and equipment with the objective of boosting production performances, increasing equipment reliability, reducing maintenance and operating costs, and improving health and safety.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs
- Demonstrate absolute commitment and leadership in providing a safe working environment
- Lead and ensure Safe Production behaviors are exhibited by team members and look for opportunities to improve employee safety and awareness.
- Perform job task observations and conduct planned inspections
- Identify, assess, and alleviate risks related to maintenance work to reduce risk for oneself and others.
- Ensure that safety incidents near misses are thoroughly investigated, procedures and protocols are followed, and recommendations implemented. Take corrective action where necessary to address non-compliance.
- Demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards ensuring all actions are transparent and in accordance with company policy and values
- Ensure that supervisors and their direct reports meet all requirements with regards to legislated regulations, company policies and practices, and agreements
- Coach Supervisors on how cost savings and continuous improvements can be made in maintaining the mobile fleet in a more efficient and technical manner.
- Resolve and/or assist direct reports in resolving disputes, mitigating concerns, and other employee issues in a timely manner; or escalate issues to senior levels.
- Develop and support the team to continually improve the operational processes, developing and progressing Continuous Improvement initiatives

**RESPONSIBILITIES (continued)**:

- Investigate task non‐conformances/compliances thoroughly and administer corrective actions up to and including disciplinary action when required, in conjunction with the company discipline code.
- Demonstrate commitment and alignment to Macassa Maintenance business Process (MBP):

- Use SAP software system effectively to properly review and document work performed, order parts, check inventory and monitor equipment history.
- Ensure the required resources and equipment are in place to achieve planned production, while meeting planned costs.
- Identify any required changes to the established production and/or maintenance schedules, that could negatively impact either department and implement mitigating controls and coordination.
- Coordinate vacation schedules for staff and hourly personnel to ensure a well-managed execution capability throughout the year.
- Provide performance feedback to team members and coach and counsel employees on the standards of behavior, and take corrective action as required.
- Communicate planned Maintenance activities with the Mine Operations department to ensure the long-term viability of the fleet.
- Implement actions to optimize process performance and attain efficiency targets in the areas of labour productivity, equipment availability and utilization, and material consumption
- Ensure urgent breakdown repairs are attended to adequately in the shop or field, in a timel
