We are currently seeking a technician, with shop experience, on a full-time, permanent basis in our Edmonton, AB repair facility. The successful applicant will have previous experience working on engine component repairs and experience working on turbochargers is a definite asset or have a strong mechanical aptitude. Our hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Occasional overtime work is required. The wage range is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour. The starting wage offered will depend upon your experience. This is an entry level position which provides room to progress into one of our many career positions within the company.

**Duties**:
This position involves bench work in a shop setting. Your time will be spent disassembling and evaluating turbochargers and cleaning components for repair. Additionally, you will complete the related inter-company report. Alamo will provide you with full training.

Qualifications:

- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Experience with engine component repairs
- Clean driving abstract
- Asset - industrial engine, rotating equipment or pump repair experience or training
- Asset - forklift training
- Asset - experience working on turbochargers
