You will have the opportunity to accept a **4, or 8 month paid placement opportunity** depending on the needs of your program and have an option to be based at our **Bradford (River)facility**. You will support a series of divisions, including health and safety, production, manufacturing, distribution, and logistics, and help our team enable change by conducting research, collecting data, building processes and more Sound exciting? - Division: Operations
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- Wage: Starting wage of $20 - 22 per hour plus + vacation pay
- Location: Bradford or Markham location (travel into the facilities is the responsibility of the student)

**In your placement, you will**
- Collaborate with various departments within our team to collect information, perform research, present findings, and build procedures to improve our processes and strategies for health and safety
- Discuss findings with floor team members to evaluate validity of research, corrective action(s) and potential root cause(s)
- Improve operational knowledge level of teams through simple lean / continuous improvement concepts
- Provide full cycle administrative support including developing work instructions, preparing reports, supporting projects, executing action items from meetings, and preparing presentations related to health and safety
- Assist with continuous improvements of initiatives by collaborating with teams to map processes, identify gaps, utilize best practices, develop solutions, and improve the performance across the value chain and profitability of projects

**You're the perfect fit for this placement if you**
- Are currently enrolled as a third or fourth year full-time undergraduate student in an accredited post-secondary engineering, sciences or health and safety program at a University/College
- Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA **_(we understand academics are challenging and therefore, we will be considering a combination of experience, passion and education beyond a GPA average when selecting our placement students)_**:

- Will be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term or require the work term or co-placement to graduate
- Have strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
