**Position Information**:
Transportation Workers in the Logistical Services Department are responsible for the transportation of patients, specimens, supplies, linens, medications, rolling stock, equipment, furniture, mail, patient information, food, and other items throughout the campus in a timely, efficient and courteous manner. As a Transportation Worker, you would be in direct contact with patients and clinical teams, supporting the world-class care provided at The Ottawa Hospital.

Minimum availability requirements: 2/3 weekends, 8 weeks during the period from June 1 to September 30, and five shifts between December 23 and January 3, inclusive of either Christmas Day, Boxing Day or December 31 / New Year's Day.

**Rotation/Shifts**:
Position may be located at either the Civic, General, Riverside Campus or other TOH Satellite locations

Rotation - Various Shifts.

**What you will do**:

- Perform routine deliveries as scheduled and responding to requests when requested or paged;
- Transport patients;
- Transport specimens, medication, and other items as required;
- Logging all activities according to procedures;
- Loading and unloading supplies.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent (i.e. G.E.D. test);
- Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time;
- Eligible to work in Canada.
