**Position Details**:
**What you will do**:

- Review and approve incoming vendor estimates to ensure quality and technical competence.
- Providing Scope review and seek clarity from the vendor on estimates, negotiate costs with vendors/contractors.
- Provide dispute-resolution services on estimate reviews relative to the CAA member, vendors and the Insurance company.
- Provide advice to Property adjusters when exceptions are encountered.
- Coordinate the appraisal resources to ensure assignments are dispatched.
- Participate in the industry events and various special projects for the benefit of the claims department as identified from time-to-time.

**What you have**:

- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in building construction as a project manager or as a senior property adjuster with an insurance carrier
- Working knowledge of XACTANALYSIS platform and XACTIMATE software.
- Familiarity with the building code and hazardous material exposure management.
- Educational background including relevant post-secondary education complemented by a CIP designation or working towards a CIP designation
- IICRC Fire and Water restoration certification would be an asset.
- Strong organizational; decision making and problem solving skillset with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Advanced technical knowledge of property damage analysis.
- Advanced negotiation skills and investigative logic.
