**Machine Operator**

Gurit is a leader in the composite materials market. Its North American subsidiary, located in Magog, specializes in the manufacture of structural foam for the marine & wind energy industries. We are currently looking for full-time operators for the day shift as well as the weekend shift.

Following instructions from the production supervisor, the machine operator will be executing specific technical tasks and operating machines related to the fabrication of structural foam.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Operate machine following specific instructions;
- Support production teams throughout manufacturing activities;
- Perform various tasks related to the preparation of operations;
- Help maintain the equipment and/or tools used in the work area;
- Collaborate in preparation for the shipping of assembled product;
- Follow & participate in promoting workplace health and safety rules;
- Perform other related duties & technical tasks.

**Job Requirements**:

- Mechanically inclined, team player & detail oriented;
- Ability to work independently performing manual labor;
- Ability to work safely, efficiently & follow work instructions.

**Technical Assets**:

- Technical trade education or equivalent experience;
- Experience in auto mechanic or/and heavy machinery;
- Capability to read & understanding technical drawings.

**Salary**: $20.02 per hour
