**Purpose of the Department Function**
- Ensure the equipment functions well and prevent machinery breakdown or production shutdown. The schedule is 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday to Thursday (4 X 12 hrs) and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday to Wednesday (3 X 12 hrs).

**Description of the Role**
- The main requirement for this role is to ensure the equipment functions well and prevent machinery breakdown or production shutdown. The role requires to improve usage and operation of equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Mechanical
- Ensure the equipment functions properly and repair equipment as needed.
- Order parts for repair or modifications to equipment, in collaboration with the
Maintenance Purchasing Responsible.
- Make sure that repairs are made safely and that the security systems are functional.
- Weld and assemble certain structures.
- Receive calls and repair CNC mechanical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Participate to continuous improvement groups in order to improve machinery
conception and efficiency, and new equipment set up.
- Dispose of residual matters according to environmental standards.
- Verify current maintenance orders to minimize downtime.
- As needed, proceed to electrical maintenance necessary to machinery efficiency.
Machining
- Calibrate machinery to keep it to standards.
- Use TI Guide

**Skills and Experience**
- Professional skills Basic computer skills
Working Experience
(years in same function/area) 3 years of experience in maintenance and
machinery repairs
Leadership skills Strong communication and team work skills.
Education Professional studies degree in Industrial Mechanics
OR Electromechanics OR equivalent experience

Languages Fluent in French and English, spoken and written
