This program aims to give Newcomer women 19-45 the necessary skills to be vital members of their community and to introduce them to networking and digital skills needed in today's workforce.

This program will offer networking and digital upskilling and crucial supports that will serve to boost and ensure the skills competitiveness of newcomer women and create opportunities to connect to the CLM. Achev will offer this program primarily through a remote delivery model and will:

- Conduct needs assessments;
- Strengthen learning & develop individualized action plans for CLM entry;
- Coordinate and provide tailored Digital Upskilling and networking Skills training essential to the workforce;
- Help to guide and refer newcomer women to volunteer and CLM prospects;
- Networking workshops including group networking /or a mentor-led networking events and 1:1 networking session to continue individualized conversations with a mentor; and

Find suitable mentors to expand professional networks ensuring that they effectively transition to the CLM but also develop clear pathways to elevate their opportunities and translate them into meaningful careers

Provide individual coaching regarding action planning, community resources, and volunteer coordination
- Coordinator by contacting employers/organizations to develop training and network opportunities
- Coordinator with Social Media Marketing and Content Creation
- Planning and organizing events.
- Conduct outreach/marketing and the recruitment and screening of newcomer women applicants for the program.
- Facilitate workshops, information sessions, co-ordinate guest speakers, and further develop and implement the program curriculum based on participant needs.
- Provide individual coaching and support regarding action planning, community resources,
- Based on participants’ action plan, work with participants in liaising with community organizations to develop networking opportunities.
- Liaise with community and business organizations that in hosting network events
- Develop program evaluation tools and ensure that evaluations of all programs activities are conducted
- Collect and analyze statistics and program evaluation data and draft monthly/quarterly reports for review by the Director
- Other duties as assigned
- University degree or College diploma in related discipline
- Minimum of two experience in the industry
- Experienced with working with Newcomer women from diverse backgrounds
- Must have volunteer experience and active in the community
- Must be highly proficient in using online admin technology
- Must be able to use Canva
- Must have experience in Facilitating to a diverse group of people
- Must have some experience in Content Creation and Online Marketing
- Must be able to travel when needed
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must have an appreciation for volunteering and civic engagement
- Must be able to develop networks for volunteerism and develop a process to collect hours outside of program
- Know how to network and outreach to newcomer women and mentors
- Proven experience working with mentors
- Attending community and industry network events with group and refreferring newcomer women
- Sound knowledge of different jobs and career paths.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent research, organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
