Divisional Collections Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee a team of Collections Agents and optimize team productivity through training, performance feedback and coaching.
- Lead regular team meetings to communicate important company updates, metrics, goals and obtain the team's ideas and suggestions.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets within assigned inventory and approved budgeted resources established by executive management.
- Analyze divisional team performance results with the COO, making recommendations to influence performance improvement strategies and action plans.
- Submit daily, weekly and monthly operational reports/paperwork to COO as required.
- Review and approve credit amendments and forward to Equifax and Transunion.
- Recruit, onboard and train new team members.
- Generate and analyze systems reports to make data informed recommendations to the COO with respect to client performance, staffing and inventory levels.
- Understand client requirements and ensure team members understand and adhere to these requirements.
- Provide exceptional service to clients.
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with the team, management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Follow company policy and procedure when addressing employee concerns, escalating complex cases to the COO for resolution support.
- Exemplify the company's values and support a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain current knowledge of collections strategies, practices, and trends.
- Other duties as required.

**What It Takes To Succeed**
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in credit collections.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience supervising a large team.
- Excellent English speaking, reading, and writing skills. Multilingual ability is an asset.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with mínimal direction.
- An effective problem-solver.
- Strong analytical proficiency with the ability to collect, organize and analyze data.
- In-depth knowledge of collections laws and best-practices.
