**Job Description**:
Your role:
We are looking for a Privacy Analyst to support the privacy function in implementing and embedding the privacy program throughout the organization to enable privacy and data protection obligations to be met whilst supporting overarching business objectives. In this role, you will be part of a privacy team with a global function.
Your Team:
Our newly established privacy team are working to operationalise a modern and pragmatic privacy program in a market leading fintech developer. Using a collaborative-centric approach, we’re passionate about helping the business to understand, own and manage privacy risk to strengthen the trust and confidence of our brand.
You will join a global team of dynamic privacy specialists in leading the incorporation of Privacy-by-design principle and culture into the daily activities of our business.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholder teams (Risk, Business Operations, etc.) to collate and analyze metrics for reporting internal privacy KPIs and trends.
- Deliver business analyst support in the implementation and transition of OneTrust privacy modules (PIA automation and Data Mapping).
- Support implementation, delivery and coordination of privacy education and awareness initiatives and resources.
What your will bring:
- Experience using OneTrust is essential.
- Proven knowledge of operational applicability of global privacy requirements (GDPR, UK GDPRA and Data Protection Act, CCPA, Australian Data Protection Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principals)
- Strong analysis and assessment skills to evaluate risks.
- Building and managing relationships within a team and with key business partners
- Exposure to working in global corporate environments involving multiple functions.
- Business analyst experience highly desired
- Collation of material for reporting (including developing relevant metrics)
- Strong communicator and presenter (written and verbal),
- Strong conceptual thinking and communication skills
- Ability to critically think, analyze and problem solve, including experience translating concepts and requirements into tangible business solutions.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience of Confluence, Jira and Atlassian tools a bonus.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Business, Law, Information Security, Privacy, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred);
- Proven experience of in-house operational privacy / data protection role
- Desirable (but not essential) to have a certification in Privacy (e.g., CIPP/E or similar)
